Terms of Service

These terms are between [legal entity] (“LayUp”, “we”) and the company you sign up for (“you”). By creating an account you agree to them on your company’s behalf.

1. What LayUp does

We research your company, find grants, tax credits and government programs that may fit, prepare draft applications and track deadlines. We don’t promise that any program will fund you, or how much it will pay.

2. What you do

• Answer our questions truthfully and review everything we prepare before it goes anywhere.
• Submit every application yourself. You sign and submit; you are the applicant and you are responsible for what is submitted.
• Handle all communication with funders. LayUp never contacts a funder, program officer or government body on your behalf.
• Keep your sign-in, including your authenticator app, secure.

3. Success fee

LayUp is free until you’re funded. When a program pays you money for an application we prepared or helped with, you owe us a success fee of 10% of the amount you actually receive. If you receive nothing, you owe nothing. There is no subscription, retainer or hourly charge.

4. Reporting funds received

You agree to tell us, within [number] days, whenever you receive money from a program we worked on, including the amount and the date, and to give us reasonable evidence if we ask.
